Although I have been interested in photography since my childhood and actively taken photos of such subjects as trains and birds since my early childhood, it was 2010 when I first thought of publishing my works. The reason was I have loved fine arts so much during the 90's and had urge to express myself with the inspiration out of them as well as fantasies that lingered in my mind.
My photography is inspired by great baroque artists who took the style of chiaroscuro, namely Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer and so on. Later Pieter Jansz. Saenredam became my source of inspiration of architectural photographs and drawings. The chiaroscuro artists’ dramatic use of darkness and bright lights as well as subtle gradations of lights and shadows artistic "world" within my mind. I could say I am art lover before being a photographer and have images before touching a camera.
Here I would like to present a few of my favorite works by those great artists.
